WHO SAYS YOU CAN’T GO HOME AGAIN? AND UCLA FB NEWS–1-6-2006
When I left XTRA Sports in 1998–fired, to be exact–I would have bet you my entire future earnings that I’d never work for XTRA Sports again. Never, ever, ever. EVER!
Glad I didn’t make that bet.
It’s a new regime over there, headed by Don Martin, and we came to an agreement and shook hands at about 2 PM.
So, as of this afternoon, I’m back with XTRA Sports. And I’ll continue to do my general show Saturdays on Progressive Talk AM1150. The times and dates of all this will be finalized sometime early next week. When they are, I’ll have all the details for you. Until then, have a great weekend–and tune in Saturday from 4-6 on 1150……..

Also….David Vassegh is reporting on AM 570 that Maurice Drew is leaving UCLA for the NFL. Excuse me while I go crash my car into a wall. (Only kidding). But that is definitely a blow to the Bruin football program. This kid is tough as nails and was the de-facto leader of this team, playing through pain and showing the way for his teammates. This will hurt, as much off the field as on it………
